Command I served aboard the USS Knox (DE/FF 1052) during “Operation Eagle Pull” and “Operation Frequent Wind” while in the South China Sea for the months of March, April, and May of 1975. I have attached a copy of those entries from my service record. I understand that under the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal 2003 – Section 542 that I have the option to convert the Armed Services Expeditionary Medal for Operation Frequent Wind to a Vietnam Service Medal. Any assistance that you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. Regards, |
